I work in a variety of media including drawing, painting, mosaic, and paper. My work emerges through an embodied practice of deep connection – through spending time with, active listening, recording, and remembering, telling a nonlinear story of the relationships between land, history, memory and the interconnectedness of all animate and inanimate life forms.
My current practice reflects my growing engagement with geology and a deepening appreciation of the vitality and importance of our lithic foundations to eco systems and our own biology. I explore our shared minerology and seek to provoke contemplation of the rocks we live with, adding to a growing awareness of the need to include earth and rock into ecological, political and philosophical debate.
